Aerobics!

Well....I did it. I went to my first aerobics class. I've joined the YMCA and I'm going to try and go to aerobics at least twice a week. There are 2 step classes on Monday and Thursday at 5:30pm that I really want to go to. It works out really good because I am able to go right after Shane gets home from work. I feel like I need to take it easy at first because Dave is only 9 weeks old, and I'm still feeding him quite a bit. I dont want to strain my body too much. Last time, I didnt do serious exercise till Noah was about 4 or 5 months old (I have a bit more fat this time around).

The aerobics instructor was amazed that my husband would stay at home with the kids so that I can exercise. Isnt Shane great?! When I got home from aerobics, he had all the toys picked up, the kids clean and ready for bed, and dinner on the table! Dont get too excited though. I made homemade chicken pot pie...he just heated it up. He is still pretty cool though and real encouraging.

Tonight was rough and I'm sure I wont be able to walk tomorrow. About 6 people left the class after the first 15 minutes. What losers!!! If I can do it, anyone can. I just love aerobics. Aerobics is one of the things that has really stuck with me since I took a 6:00am class in college. I really think it is necessary for me...not just to lose my baby weight, but also for my mental health too. I get a chance to get out of the house on my own as well. Well..I'm proud of myself for going. Going to the first class is the hardest. After awhile, you just kind of get into the groove.
