Well...the boys are definately on the mend here. Noah is back to his normal self except for a bit of a cough. David still has a really bad cough, but is eating and poohing lots...and lots!
I took David back to the doctor today for a checkup. Everything was good and things should now start to improve even more. The doc wants to see both boys again next Monday. If all is ok, Dave will have his 6 month needles (shots).
At the doctor's office, I happen to mention that it seems that I have caught what the boys have. He asked if he could check me out. He took one look at my throat and said YUCK! So now I have some medicine to take. Hopefully, I will not be up all night coughing tonight. When you have such good babies that sleep through the night when they are 6 weeks old (YES!!! WONDERFUL)...it is so hard when they are up because of sickness. It is just hard missing out on the sleep when you arent use to it or prepared for it.
The weather here is killing us....yeah...killing us. It is freezing cold here. I cant believe it. I literally feel like it is going to snow at any moment. I think the norm temperature here is about 50 during the day. I'm not good with Math so that may not be right. I sure do miss central heating. The houses here are just built for the heat in summer I guess...and yes...to say that it gets hot here in the summer is an understatement...it is boiling in the summer. I feel like we are doing everything humanly possible to just keep the kids warm at night. We arent even going out much because it is too cold and windy with the kids being so sick. Vietnam sure did turn us in to lovers of the heat....Man I miss the heat (never thought I would say that)!!!
Sorry I havent put any photos up lately. It seems that we have exceded our upload quota for the month. Opps!
I'm looking forward to the end of this week. Shane's last day of work is on Friday. He has taken a job a the local council. It will be so much better for him-better working conditions, less hours, and more pay :)! He is having a week off inbetween jobs, and we are going to spend some time at Woodgate for my birthday. So, I'm really looking forward to having him around a bit more in the next week!
We are still taking things slowly in regard to Vietnam. We will see what the Lord has planned. Communication is slow because life in Asia is...FAST! We are just taking it a step at a time and playing the waiting game. Meanwhile, we are getting involved lots here and really enjoying it.
